Google Maps Finally.
An overdue acknowledgment that Google finally launched its map service even if only in beta.
Unlike reported in many places, Google is using NAVTEQ data. It's a terrific UI that dresses up pretty standard maps and directions. The UI has really pushed the envelope of what is doable with a browser. This has probably shrunk significantly the market for disk-based mapping products (DeLorme, Streets & Trips).
